Sokofan (short for sokoban fan) is (another) clone of the hugely popular japanese classic logic game Sokoban invented by Hiroyuki Imabayashi of Thinking Rabbit in the 1980's.
For those who may have never played before, the aim is to have a man push boxes from behind in a maze of variable shape and size made up of walls, floor and target (also known as goal) tiles until all boxes are correctly placed over the target tiles. It may sound simple, but it is easier said than done. Some mazes are incredibly hard while others show aesthetic qualities. This makes Sokoban a beautifully simple (in rules) and elegant challenging game.
Keep in mind that in the original game, a warehouse keeper (this is, I believe what the japanese word sokoban means) had to push boxes. Nowadays, sokoban clones use all kinds of things to represent the pusher and the pushed objects....
