Many simple activities in Windows XP involve opening too many menus. XP Shortcuts is a collection of shortcuts allowing to perform shutdown, restart, and stand by just with one mouse click. Also the collection includes shortcuts for faster disk defragmenting and error-checking.

The following shortcuts will be created on your desktop:

RESTART- Windows closes all programs and restarts the computer.

SHUTDOWN-Windows closes all programs and shuts down the computer. Be sure to save all information before using this shortcut. All programs will be closed.

STAND BY- turns on stand by mode.

DEFRAGMENT-calls Windows defragmenter.

ERROR CHECK (C)-Windows checks Disk C for errors. All errors will be fixed automatically. Also Windows tries to locate and repair bad sectors.

ERROR CHECK (D) - same as above only for Disk D.

Shortcuts DEFRAGMENT, ERROR CHECK (C), and ERROR CHECK (D) will be placed in a separate folder called DISK MAINTENANCE.
