Portable Thunderbird allows you to carry your whole email client and all your contacts with you on an iPod, USB thumbdrive, portable hard drive or any other portable media. You can plug it right into any Windows computer and use it just like you would on your own. It is a repackaged version of the popular Mozilla Thunderbird email client designed with portability in mind, so it has all the same great features of Thunderbird, but there's nothing to install.
For further customization, the following options are available: Portable Thunderbird Launcher 1.1.0 (included) - The included launcher is also available for download. It is released under the GPL.Batch File Launcher (included) - If you're not using any extensions and just want a basic batch file, drop thunderbird.bat into your thunderbird directory.Thunderbird Drive Icon / Right-click Launch (included) - If you're only using your portable drive for Portable Thunderbird, you can have its drive icon be the Thunderbird icon and be able to right-click on it to launch Portable Thunderbird by placing this autorun.inf file in the root directory.
